Law Preview helps law students get higher grades entering into law schools. Law Preview commissioned PDIM to give Law Preview a new brand identity, web site, and print materials. The website, I had collaborated with Shawn Anderson and his crew at GeminiSBS to bring LawPreview.com to life. My responsibility was to create the company logo and design the website in PHP, XHTML and CSS. Also, built the custom video player that mirrored NYTimes.com. The back end CMS of the website was built by GeminiSBS using Symphony framework. The client makes all the content updates themselves. We are only utilized again for any major template changes to the design or the back end. This project was a global project. PDIM is based out of Berlin, Germany. Law Preview is based out of Massachusetts and Washington, DC. GeminiSBS is based out of Colorado and New York. We avidly communicated using Skype and Subversion was used to manage the production work flow. It really felt like the team was in the same office working together thanks to Skype and thanks to Subversion for keeping all of us in check with the version control.
