My new music project
I started writing some songs with my good buddy Yann Le Du, and formed a band called FREETAG ALLEY. We are at the moment a duo. We uploaded 1 song so far and it is called "The Many, The Money, The Honey, the Bunny." We will be uploading another song next week called "One Buck". Style with CSS turned off using the “hr” tag
Did you know that the "hr" tag is quite a useful tag? Let's say the user views your web site with the CSS styling off or they are viewing through a mobile device, by adding the code "hr" tag will help better visually organize your contents on your web page by having line dividers between each sections. However, you need to hide the the tag with CSS so that the line is hidden when the CSS is on and the line shows up when the CSS is off. See example below. Read on. >
“Um… is this mike on?”
This is the infamous "Is this mike on?" first entry of my journal. I started building the new version of the PDIM website during this past Christmas holiday. Only then, I had the time to focus on the art direction of the site. My old website had been an outdated 3 years old flash site in which I am happy to have finally switched over to a powerful Content Management System powered by Expression Engine. I am hoping to land some new exciting projects where I can utilize EE. I was honored to win a copy of Expression Engine from a Photoshop contest I entered hosted by Veerle's blog (one of my favorite web designer) back in September 2006.
